Singer Shakira is rumored to be dating British actor Lucien Laviscount. According to TMZ, the two were spotted having dinner. Additionally, Laviscount supported her during a recent performance in New York.

The Colombian vocalist performed in Times Square on Tuesday night. Then, he accompanied her to the popular eatery Carbone following the event. The two seemingly sported matching all-black ‘fits.

Meanwhile, a source told US Magazine that the “Girl Like Me” singer “isn’t ready for a relationship” but she is single and mingling.
And some social media goers aren’t buying this budding love. They speculate it could simply be great marketing for her new single, ‘Puntería.’ The two have a few flirty scenes in the song’s music video but he’s an actor, right?
Shakira’s Divorce & Alleged Dates Following Split
The “Queen of Latin Music” has been linked to a few eligible bachelors since her divorce from former Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué. Shakira has been having a revival of sorts as she releases new music in seven years. She stated divorcing her husband has allowed her to be free again and work.
The superstar told Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Shit,’ “I didn’t have time because of the husband factor.” She continued, “Now I’m husbandless. Yeah, the husband was dragging me down. Now I’m free. Now I can actually work.”
Shakira was married to Piqué for 11 years. The stellar performer became suspicious of her husband’s infidelity after returning home from traveling. She noticed the strawberry jam that she only ate had been used.
The US Weekly insider additionally shared, “Shakira is doing better than she has in years, she is acting like a new woman. Friends are so excited to see her back to her former self — in work and with friends.”
The source added, “Shakira has a new light around her that she hasn’t had since before Piqué.”
